It’s been all doom and gloom over here with that post and today is my 25th birthday so I thought maybe I should at LEAST change it to say yay birthday!

I thought about putting together some type of fun 25 things in 25 years post but I hit a wall last week and decided to try and put the brakes on my race car brain right now.  I have been flying 720 mph lately into the future and I desperately need to enjoy the right now.

Especially since the right now includes a birthday weekend coming up with a Block Island trip and some awesome beach time.

And an awesome girlfriend who at midnight this morning handed me a small bag and a card and said “this is your fun gift!” and it was a Flip Mino HD!  I had been talking about how awesome it would be to be able to record little tidbits of our lives and she is always taking notes when I talk.  The thing is super cute, super tiny and shoots in 720p which is pretty amazing.  As is she.

Anyway, birthday!  25 years down, many more to go.
